Description
After working on these bad boys on and off for weeks, here's my celebratory drawings for the release of NWH in theaters; featuring all 3 live-action Spideys (and my designs for them!). Tobey’s Spidey is a Golden Retriever (with tiger stripe markings, because iirc Raimi!MJ is the only live-action Spidey love interest who calls her Spidey ‘Tiger’), Andrew’s Spidey is a Collie while Tom’s Spidey is a Border Collie!

I had a lot of fun working out their designs, even if figuring out how to draw the suits hurt my brain a lil (Andrew’s was a pain in the ass). It feels really special drawing a character I’ve adored pretty much my entire life (I think I was about 6 when I got into Spider-Man? EDIT: the earliest pics I can find of myself with Spider-Man stuff are from 2004 when I was 4), especially Tobey’s Spidey as he’s the one I grew up watching. Drawing his suit got me so giddy it felt like I was a kid scribbling Spider-Man on computer paper with crayons again. On that note, don’t ask me which actor’s portrayal I like more; they all explored different aspects of Peter/Spidey well and they all did a good job!

Even though it’s only really speculation atm (but let’s be real, after that OST leak where a track titled ‘Unite’ samples music from the Raimi/ASM films, it’s pretty much confirmed), I’m very excited to see all three Spideys on the big screen together! I wasn’t allowed to see Spider-Man 3 as a kid because my mom thought it’d be too scary, and I was never compelled to go see the ASM movies in theater (idk why exactly; I don’t remember feeling bitter about there being a new Spidey, although I was upset I’d never get the Spider-Man 4 Raimi film I dreamed about, but I enjoyed the first movie when I watched it on DVD with my cousin), so having Tobey, Andrew and Tom on a screen together would fulfill a part of baby Venom’s brain that I never thought I’d get to have. Plus, with Part 1 of the Spiderverse sequel and the sequel to the PS4 Spider-Man game set to release in the near future, it’s a very good time to be a Spidey fan :]

Also YES I did painstakingly draw out every lil detail on those pizza boxes. Please clap

Don’t worry, Miles is here too! (he brought soda!)

For shits and giggles I decided to include a MCU Miles Morales based on Lil Nas X, mainly because he jokingly tweeted that he was going to play Miles in the MCU after being shown hanging out with Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield . Plus, ever since Aaron showed up in Homecoming and Miles was mentioned by name I’ve been waiting to see him show up in the MCU (and NWH would be a great place to do that). I drew him in the PS5 Miles suit because I’m not smart/creative enough to design a special suit for him u-u

Miles in general (in my designs/verse/whatever) is an Australian Shepherd! Originally I intended for this Miles to be a red merle, but I figured I’d save that design for Spiderverse!Miles. This Miles instead has a blue merle and white coloring! I wanted him to stand out from the 3 Peters, namely because this wasn’t meant to be a serious design and was only done for fun (although, if Lil Nas somehow becomes Miles in the MCU, then this’ll be canon in that regard outside of the suit). Regardless, I had fun working on this! Can’t wait to design more Marvel/MCU characters! If there are any characters you’d be interested to see first lmk ;3c

Fun fact I took a reference photo of myself holding those coke boxes because my dumbass couldn’t get the angles right. Also, like the pizza boxes in the 3 Peters drawing, I painstakingly did all the lil details on the coke boxes. I did have to trace over a transparent Coke logo because my ref photo made it come out blurry and I wanted it to be accurate in that regard

Now that that stuff is out of the way, I'm announcing a mini semi-hiatus from most of my social media! I'd really like to go into NWH spoiler-free (outside of like. Tobey and Andrew most likely being in it, cause that's pretty much a given at this point), and because I frankly don't trust the algorithms to keep me out of the loop (especially Instagram, jesus), I'm mostly going to avoid Twitter/Instagram until I see the movie Saturday night. I'll most likely be more active on Tumblr/YouTube/here, but if I get any form of spoilers on Tumblr/dA I might be scarce for a while (I did blacklist as many tags as I could on Tumblr, but something could still slip through). While the plan is to see the movie Saturday, I feel like I'm getting a minor sickness, so I could very well not see it for at least a week if it starts getting worse. My mom has been coughing pretty bad for a few days now, and yesterday-today I've noticed I've started coughing more often too, and my throat feels a lil off (although my cough is more like a dry cough, -GROSS WARNING- my mom has been coughing up clear phlegm and is gagging from how hard she's been coughing, so idk if it'll get to her level or not; either way we don't think it's Covid because we can still smell/taste things and we don't have fevers or any other major symptom). Idk, hopefully I'll be fine enough to see it Saturday, but if I get really sick by then and I have to extend the hiatus I'll let y'all know Q_Q
