Meet Dionysus Ludus Amore! The only son of Queen Cadence and Commander Tempest.

After a magical little valentine evening, Cadence and Tempest eventually get married. Cadence births Dion, which takes place a little while after this:

-Dion (Die-on or Dee-on) is very in touch with his feminine side, and doesn't mind being confused as female. While he doesn't necessarily identify with any specific label, he'd probably be gender fluid, associating with any pronoun he sees fit. He's a successor to both of his parents, seeming to have a natural talent for war strategy and companionate love. He's technically heir to the Throne of Love, but he spends much more time training young squires/cadets or going wine tasting with his friends. Like his mother, he's pansexual, but he hasn't found his special someone just yet!

-Given that one of his mothers is an alicorn, his lifespan is expanded by a few hundred years. He'll outlive his mother Tempest, but unfortunately, Cadence will eventually have to say goodbye to her son. He won't live forever, but that's not something he really thinks about. Cadence pushes the thought aside a lot.

-Dion has a curved horn, representing his nobility and his status as a carrier of alicorn blood. In the canon world, curved horns are exclusive traits to alicorns, but in this AU (still have yet to find a name for it), curved horns can be observed in a few unicorns who are of high class. He has markings all over his body like Cadence, and his hooves are cloven like the traditional unicorn.

-He's quite the softy in every situation other than battle. Young cadets pray to be assigned to him because he's known for making training the least miserable. He's still an outstanding teacher regardless. He's about the same height as Cadence, making him just a little taller than Tempest (who is already much taller than the average unicorn). He also carries pegasus blood within his genes, which makes him very fluffy year round, especially during winter. He has soft downy feathers around his neck and shoulders.

Hope you like him!! I had a blast designing him and I've kinda fallen in love with this Tempence (Tempest x Cadence?? Cadepest?) AU, and I might start expanding it further ;-; I'm not sure if I'll do anything more but an idea might pop into my head outta nowhere one day.
