Description
It turned out that Wyn was the missing prince of the Star Kingdom. After the players made the king step down, they put Wyn in charge as a righteous ruler.
He wear an eyepatch with the symbol of the Starbound on it. The "Starbound" are people that were gifted by legendary pokemon and shunned upon the people and treated as slaves and servants. Wyn wanted to represent them as well and make the Star Kingdom better for everyone. As such he kept the symbol and changed it to something better.
