If she's wielding 2 guns she should take the opposite one, so she could pull out the second gun easily. And add some spare ammo.
She does mention in the game that for a period of time she was hiding in some high tech world with flying cars. She should have remained there. Any dumb ass elf wielding sword and riding horse would be shredded to bits by authorities.
