» this began as just an experimental piece.. but now i think it's my personal fav. so that's why i just had to share it ^_^
» i was trying to change the original horse from dark bay to a red dunalino overo. i think i did it, although i thought it looked weird at first. it was tricky getting the dark points to red, and i had to really mess with the hair. think it looks believable enough?
» the credit for the photography is given to the amazingly talented Linda Welsh, her work is just gorgeous. i suggest checking out her akhal-teke portraits, i was speechless at the beauty of the horses and the way she captures it.

hmm what kind of painting do you mean? cause it looks like you've painted in your manips already. do you mean adding paint markings? ive been asked about that before, i really need to make a tutorial on that, there's a trick to it. i'll save yr email btw.

oh ok. well ive never painted on markings. i select the area and use hue/sat like you mentioned. i use smudge for smoothing out the body too. let me know if u figure out painting on markings tho, that sounds difficult lol
