Here's an art update for the newest visual novel in development.Feedback's deeply appreciated.
Notes:
-The background still needs to be cleaned up
-Done: Character sprite, and textbox.

This is really well done. Everything improved since Frozen Essence. The background is done well and I think there's not a lot to improve on this one. The guy has a very sleepish looking face, which I find really appealing. In fact, I want to know more of the character now due to this pic.
Your attention to detail in the backgrounds really shine. I really think you can be a background artist in deviantart with this pic. There are high in demand I bet because people aren't as good with background as they are with characters. Good job and hoping to see more.

I'm glad you found the sleepy looking face to be appealing. 
I'm glad you really like the background. It's mixed media. I used free resources (for any use) to help me make the background. Then I played around with textures, filters, and did other photo adjustments. I painted over most of it, so I didn't do it from scratch. That is my reason I can't be an actual background artist. XD

XD, that's the shortest nutshell for a character I've ever read! Well, I think I gotta wait for the mysterious part to be less mysterious X3

I think the hood should be a bit more triangular in the shape, so that it's smaller in the top and a bit wider at the bottom ^. Also the left eye should probably be a biiit wider although you can't see much under the hair :3 It's really pretty !!!!

Ah, okay. The hood should be a tad more triangular. That shouldn't be too tough to do, same with the eyes. I'll double check the eye size layer underneath the hair.
