Ya its a what if panzer from trumpeter, an E50 it comes with two types of main gun, think I'll use the 8.8

the rust is pretty good. did you mean for it to not have texture but have the effect of weathering?

oh, I was just learning how to do some proper weathering on this one. Every model is a new experiment, and takes a lot of research and I learn something new with each one.

to get a straight water line, as boat modeller, one trick I used was to place the boat in a stand so she sat on a level surface, got a block of wood, drilled a hole for a pencil to sit in, making sure the fit was snug, then having sprayed the primer color down first (also doubling as he anti-fouling color), I used the pencil and block to do the line.
once that was done, down went the masking tape
worked a charm!

Revell has nice models, and very understandable how-to's, along withthe nifty little difficulty system, so you don't end up with a model that is way over your head.
