I really do wish a friendship could've happened out of these two.

Besides wobbly lines, the shading and colours are very accurate and I would've easily thought those were simple screenshots if not enlarged.

teh one ting that hits me is, if Kikyo hates Kagome, then that means Kikyo hates herself???:S i've been watchign the series for 4 years now, and that alwauys makes me curious.

Wow, extremely old post, but just because kagome is her reincarnation, DOES NOT mean that they are the same person. Look how much they differ in terms of personality!
And well, it is only natural for them to be slightly hostile to each other. I don't blame them.
Kikyou's POV near beginning to middle: Annoying, curious, loud brat who stole InuYasha and everything she could have done if she were still alive.
Kagome's POV near beginning to middle: Cold, unwelcoming woman who is really unfair and ungrateful, not to mention haughty and gets Inuyasha's attention a lot.

and if you were in a time period you didnt want to be wouldnt you complain? besides read the manga she rarely does that. there is such thing as CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. and dont just her just by her english voice, watch it in japanese. cant you read subtitles? better yet, read the manga!

her english voice pisses me off, her japanese voice is fine, and in the manga and subtitles it's fine, but her english voice... ugh, it's so damned screechy!!!
