Hola!
I was going through your gallery and I like... I really love your photos. The fact that you shoot analogue makes it better!

I am recently wanting to jump back to analogue myself. I know darkroom developing process and printing with Black and White... BUT... I am having a hard time finding out about color film processing. Do you know any good links that will teach me about the chemicals, cross-processing, and stuff like that?

Hey
Thanks so much for going through my gallery - I'm flattered that you like my photos!

Unfortunately I only know b&w darkroom processing - I don't know colour (but I wish I did know it!) I send all my colour films to a photo lab for processing and for cross-processing. I do know that colour film processing is a little bit harder to come across in traditional photo courses (at least in my country). I have asked around and most people say that with colour, it's easier to just send it to a lab because chances are the results will be better anyway...
Only a few colleges/universities (I think it's only 3 actually) in my city offer traditional colour photography courses

oh, I wish there was a photo lab that would do cross-processing. Yeah, I've heard is harder to do. At school here they don't even teach traditional photography anymore... not even for black and white, just digital. Ahh... Nostalgia... I wish I had been born some years back in time, perhaps it could've been easier to find resources to learn traditional color processing.

anyways, thanks!

If there's a lab near you that does normal colour negative processing, then they should be able to do cross-processing too
You should ask them - all you need to do is tell the people to make sure they process the film like regular negative film (in c-41 chemicals). Tell them that it's ok if the colours come out all crazy. I don't go to any special photo lab for my cross-processing - all I do is just ask them to make sure the slide film is developed like negative film.
And yeah, it's so sad how traditional photography courses are becoming rarer and rarer All the high schools in my city have cancelled their b&w photography courses. It's very hard to find these kind of classes now, unless you go to university.
I'm with you - I also wish I was born in a time when film photography was at its height!

I hope my information was helpful
