Ooh you're right, the lights do look somewhat like water creatures. That's cool, cos originally they were just boring street lights on a long exposure >.<

Its just because of the different lighting on her makes her stand out from the background....
This is a good way to create art....ive seen someone else do it...oh yeah that one I showed you of the birds in the sky...
Is it tricky to do though?

Yeah i tried making her blend in with the background, but the fact she's so in focus compared to the rest makes it a bit obvious she doesn't belong there. The lighting too, of course, though compared to how she originally looked i think i did ok.
Yeah photomanipulation is very popular, i don't like using other people's photos much though. And no, it's not very tricky to do this kinda thing, I'd say the trickiest part is making the 2 images blend in well
