Personality: Norton is an emotional and loving character, and is a friend to everyone. He is often regarded to as being cheeky, obtrusive, and flirtatious. Strangely, he is lovable even with these qualities, his friendly disposition convincing many to favor him. Norton doesn't seem to have a very concise, planned future ahead of him, but he mentions dreaming of being a supreme ruler. This is typically said jokingly, so no one is quite sure how serious the bat is. He's seen by many having a good heart, but is unfortunately very clingy and dense. He is the oldest child of 26 kids, and as a result, can be very defensive of his siblings or younger friends. He often babies and teases these younger friends and siblings. Norton has experienced a lot of loss over recent years, many of which he believes were preventable. Blaming himself for these people disappearing from his life, Norton feels that he burdens the people around him. This is an extremely conflicting feeling to him, as he seeks constant companionship and attention, even if it is negative. He does not like to be alone at all. History: He grew up in a good household, acting as if he were another parent to his 25 siblings. He grew to be an attention-seeker, his mischievous behavior often being the only thing that was noticeable to his parents while they tended to the younger siblings. As a result, he has grown a slight bitterness towards the idea of being ignored and does not let sleeping dogs lie under any circumstances. He performed very well in school and occupied himself with extracurricular activities, primarily in the arts. He grew fond of music, frequenting clubs and concerts that surrounded his favorite genres. He grew close with people in the crowds of EDM, rock 'n roll, punk, and his favorite, heavy metal. Growing so attached to the genre, he created a band called "Anarcho-Underground" as a lead vocalist. Under strange circumstances, the group suddenly split. Lost and without a direction in life, he heard about the raider attacks on Lilypad and grew ever-interested in the phenomenon. After some searching, he met with a witch, telling her that he would exchange his wealth from his band for some donated magic. The witch happily agreed with his deal and they performed a ritual to expel some of her magic to give to him. He tricked her during this ritual, absorbing all of her white magic completely, leaving her helpless. With swears of vengeance, he fled from her and made his way towards Lilypad with a new, magically-imbued right eye. To hide it, he wears his bangs over his eye, afraid that it will be questioned by his new peers. As of now, he is interested in learning more about the raiders and wants to help in any way that he can.

After settling into Lilypad, Norton made a few quick friends, though the closest is undoubtedly her next-door neighbor, Emera. It was only a short matter of time before he became quite the friendly thorn in her side. Emera had taken some time to grow used to Norton, but they are as thick as thieves now. Life was uneventful and pleasant until Norton received a mysterious cap on his doorstep . Believing it was from a friend of his, he started to wear the nightcap to bed constantly. The cap was a cursed article and plagued the poor bat with constant nightmares. The sleep deprivation and the nightmares grew so overwhelming that he hardly was functional as the witch who he'd stolen magic from slipped into his home to take it back by force. Infuriated to find she could not absorb the white magical essence as a corrupted, now black witch, she grew furious and cursed Norton once more. This curse transformed him into a large draconic beast of misery and woe, named the Beast of Burden from tales of old. This Beast of Burden's sorrow was turned into magic and he caused a snowstorm that covered a large portion of Lilypad. As his friends and family gathered to soothe him, Norton had finally given into his exhaustion. His injuries from the event were great and he was whisked to a hospital in a Pebble Town to heal. Once back, he received a very warm welcome from his loved ones and is now actively going to a therapist to help him through his challenges.

Norton had gotten a witch amulet to gift him on his birthday from his younger brother, Quinibie, who promised to help him find a purpose in life, something he knew his older brother craved the most. Norton became a witch soon after and is currently still learning how to properly utilize his magic from Emera and Quinibie.

Other:

- Can eat a grape by sticking it up his nose. Don't ask him to do this.
- Loooooves Macy, though he teases her often. Macy seems a little uncomfortable with the idea of him here atm.
- A romantic at heart, but dating sucks.
- With the use of his magic eye, he is able to create fire, water, and ice. He can manipulate very small bits of earth and rock, but is not too good at it. He doesn't use his magic often, claiming it's exhausting to perform.
