whoa... I really really like how this turned out!
I think you expressed the form of his body really well with that cross hatching following the shape!

to me it doesnt feel much like SFIV though. the SFIV style has stronger black and really really bold strokes. Yours stroke is finer and its more controlled.

I like to do a really critique to people's work and there are 2 things I kind of want to point out...
first I the white outline of the hair is really really distracting. maybe you can use clean water to bleed out the ink or fill out the white area. Second, the blank spot in the bottom right... it just looks really strange and unfinished. You probably dont intend to actually finish this but i feel like its such a tease for the viewer to see such an awesome drawing and then bam! a blank spot

I like your critique, it is helpful. There is alot of good and bad points about this artwork but at the time I just did not have enough time to finish it. What I want to achieve from this quick sketch is the mood and I think I accomplish that well.

True, develope the relationship 1st, they did it wrong with madison and ethan where they barely knew each other (heavy rain, but im sure alex will do a good job with the character development, its a bit like Selena and Jim (28 days later) with the respect that Monkey is Selena being hardened and experienced and Trip being like Jim, someone thrust into the middle and having no idea what to do....anyhoo romaaaaance please there isnt enough Monkey x Trip in the world lol

I agree, there's a strong sense of energy like the SF4 art has, and you've captured it well, your inking is looking much tighter, and the high contrast shading is great, possibly your most polished piece to date!
