Description “ Ever since we first saw the sun
A man and woman like to shake it
When the day is done
So we're gonna shake and shimmy it
And have some fun today

’Cause you can’t stop
The motion of the ocean
Or the rain from above
You can try to stop the paradise
We're dreaming of
But you cannot stop the rhythm
Of two hearts in love to stay

'Cause You Can't Stop The Beat!”

These are the gorgeous puppies of Cash and Dixie, the two lead singers of The Singing Strays. (Known from Fox and the Hound 2). They were an idea of burning claw and ever since I saw her pic Ain’t Nothing But A Hounddog , I wanted to draw these three. Because they are just THAT awesome! :B So here they are, all grown up, stepping into their parent’s pawsteps. Let’s get a little closer look at every one of them: (from left to right)

Lewis: (After Jerry Lee Lewis)
Lewis is a rambunctious, high-spirited young dog with a strong will and an even stronger sense for family. He is proud of his origin even though he is “just a mongrel”, and whilst he likes to tease or pick on his sisters sometimes, he cares deeply for them. He has a way with the ladies and isn’t too shy to benefit from it. Lewis needs adrinaline, needs a challenge and an adventure. Something through which he can grow and improve and show what he is capeable of.
He can play the piano fast and precise like no one else, wich earned him the nickname “The Killer”. (Just like his human model. How he plays the piano, you ask? Remember the way Dodger played it in Disney’s Oliver and Company? Just like that!) I imagine Lewis’ voice to be strong, light and bold. Something very energetic, between tenor and baritone.

Georgia:
Georgia is sort of the calm center of the siblings. Since the early days of her childhood she was a very shy personality, that often stood in the background of things and was overlooked. Grown up, she still tends to be too cautious and rather listens to her head, thinks things trough, before she acts. (Sometimes a bit too much.) Nonetheless, she has her principles to which she holds strongly and is, overall, very caring and gentle.
She doesn’t sing as often as her siblings do, and isn’t so eager for success and fame either, but when she sings, I can imagine, that all of her shyness falls off of her. Then she really can live out her emotions, express her feelings. Tell them soft, or scream ‘em out to the world, throughout the lyrics. Georgia has the strongest and deepest voice of the three pups. Very clear, very loud of she wants to and full of soul. I can think of a mixture of Amy Winehouse and Queen Latifa.

Belle:
Belle is the one, that most resembles her mother. She has the same elegance and the same attitude of Dixie, mixed in with the never ceasing ambition of her father. Her heart is filled, with great hopes and dreams of becoming famous and she would do almost everything, to accomplish her goals. Sometimes she tends to get a little cocky and hot tempered, if things don’t go the right way, but then relies on her witty mind to find a solution. Despite beeing on the way to the top, she never forgets where she comes from, and sticks to her family when the times are hard.
I can picture a silvery and clear voice for Belle, that has the ability to capture her audience right away. Something that has a very large range of tones and so, shows her talent and confidence.

Remember, these are all my suggestions! Claw, gave the basic character for every one of the puppies. I don’t know if she ever planned for them to really be this way and I hope she won’t sue me, if I described them totally wrong. So yeah, I really liked how this pic turned out, but I think it’s still a little…naked? Probably I could write something on the top? Any suggestions?
Anyway, it was tons of fun and if inspiration strikes me again, I will draw the pups another time.
Hope you enjoy!^^

Greetings
Verlin

No, I love your descriptions of them! You took characters that I made for fun and made them into fully fledged, well-rounded doggies x3 And kept them in keeping with my original idea of them as well!

This is so cute!! Thank you so much! <3
