As for me, I prefer yellow eyes because this color give more vividness to Tomoe’s image. I think purple is really beautiful color, but it is dim for such scene.
When I colored this page I tried to paint purple eyes but I couldn’t find necessary hue… Tomoe’s stare was baleful, glassy, icy… There was no heat in a look.
Yellow rescued the situation
I made this coloring more than half year ago. I love this scene but my work isn't pleasant to me. There are awful shades and incorrect blinks, clumsy background and rare yellow eyes
