This is so sad.
I have my own theory why he is crying ....but maybe I'm just insane.
Somehow I feel like he may be the father of Vincent....but that's just my point of view.

Well undertaker is much much older than ciel,s grand father but to keep it in the theory that he could be a ancestor of the phantomhive family as too when he committed suicide as reaper he always kept a eye on his family on the side now please correct me if I'm wrong on this I don't if Claudia was married into the family or if she was born into the phantomhive family that undertaker met her and as you said develops feelings for her that's what i think off it at least but i also think your right on de family with undertaker why els would he be so close with the phantomhive's
