yeah I had two parts half-drawn and apparently tonight was the night to finish them. I really felt like drawing but had no clue what so it was finishing things time.

“Jasmine- she’s that scatterbrained fairy who’s been popping up in weird places all over the village lately, right?” Rhodes just nodded, not wishing to interrupt the authoritative and grumpy Dewott. “She was kidnapped, and now... now what? What happened in those woods, and where are we now?”

“We’re not really sure where this is, but I recognise it...” Rhodes trailed off in contemplation for a moment, before jumping back onto the subject of their mission. “But we saw Jasmine, she got hurt when we tried to rescue her, and she won’t stay still! She teleported away or something, but we need to find her...”

“And PK said this?”

“Yeah, PK and that Iceburg guy are here, they’re trying to find her too. She told us to pair off and find Jasmine, and meet back at Monochrome Tower...”

He gestured into the thin canopy, and the Dewott zipped up a nearby trunk and onto one of the higher branches. Rhodes followed her, out of earshot of the remaining pokemon.

“I should be able to get my bearings from that,” he indicated the familiar black-and-white spiral of Monochrome Tower, “but... it’s weird.” Rhodes crossed his paws, perched with perfect balance on a thin branch. “It doesn’t seem to... add up?”

Kyuvi, too, surveyed the surroundings. The Sneasel wasn’t wrong. The tower was there, as always, but the rest of the landscape looked out of place. As if lots of other landmarks had just disappeared around it. “Yeah... it’s weird, that’s for sure...”

“Anyway, I think you guys should all stay together.” Rhodes put it simply. “You can’t pair off from a trio, anyway, and your friend looks a bit..” he picked his words carefully, “...under the weather.”

“I suppose...” Kyuvi didn’t really fancy the company of that annoying Shroomish for very long, but she knew the Sneasel was thinking smart. If something went wrong, better three pairs of hands- no, wait... legs... oh, whatever. “We’ll do what we can and get back to that tower, then.”

“Good luck!” Rhodes called, swinging swiftly back down to the ground. “Come on, Winston. Let’s keep going.”
