Description
Velma Dinkley and Marcy Fleach from "Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated".The previous Marcy was kinda sad so I wanted to draw something a bit more upbeat with Velma and her hanging out. Did a few things differently this time.
Nearly forgot to mention, this is 16:9 wallpaper-sized so if you like some Velma and Marcy you can have them on your desktop.

surprising that no one has mentioned that marcy was voiced by the actress who played velma in the live-action movies and voiced wendy on Gravity Falls another show about meddling kids solving mysteries if you think about it

Funny how I didn't particularly care for Hot Dog Water her first appearance or two, apart from Hmm, that's a unique name. In any case, now, I strongly endorse Velma & Marcie's bond, friendship or otherwise.

Marcy Fleach is in the newer series Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated. She started as Velma's rival, a villain. Later she became Velma's friend and replaced Daphne in the gang for a short time. She has an enemy turned friend arc.

i still dont get why they kicked her out. why couldnt they have more than 4 human members?

Well, initially, it was kind of implied that the gang always worked alone as they were and that having a '5th member' was throwing them off (Velma really did want her to stay). However later on in the series, the reasons why there are always 4 team members and an anila is related to the Entity...you just have to watch the show to get a better explanation, as any more would be a MASSIVE spoiler.

and that's the darkest it's been since Zombie Island in 1998 which kinda picks up where Reluctant Werewolf left off as that was the original series finale before the reboot.

Yeah Mystery Inc is the only decent reboot I have seen, I don't get why all the Scooby Fans Curse over it. It's called a reboot for a reason I am a Scooby Fan and I split the show into 3 different universes Hanna-Barbera+What's New (plus their movies which include the 90's DTV and WNSD DTV's) since it's pretty much modern day Where Are You, Mystery Inc+DTV's done in that style and the awful live action films. However we still don't know if Shaggy and Scooby's eyes are brown or black as they've always had those beaded eyes when the 90's revealed Fred and Daphne's to be two different shades of blue (Daphne's are turquoise, Fred's are more aqua)and that would make art a whole lot easier and profile bios as well, Velma's were revealed to be green but we still need to know Shaggy and Scooby's as it would be an interesting detail. I really liked the over arching story and Velma's slight redesign, the red bow is cute and she needed a little more red anyway fred could use more orange and daphne a bit more green.

the only complaint i had was they never did fix Shaggy's and Velma's relationship at the end.

They Implied it like they did with Fred and Daphne, Shaggy caught Velma and she and Shaggy both tried to catch Scooby (while giving each other a googly eyed look) unfortunately only Shaggy caught Scooby by a tail, Fred and Daphne apparently got back together just as they were about to destroy Nibiru, so I guess the same could be said for Shaggy and Velma only they didn't realize it until later.

I kinda prefer it to be more subtle like HB did with Shapne and Frelma which I prefer those ships to Frephne/Shelma because Shaphne/Frelma is canon according to HB anything WB does is another universe except for the time from 1998-2009 as they can all fit within the HB world, however anytime I see a Frephne/Shelma it in my fanon for WNSD where this whole mess started with the late 98-01 pilots didn't happen, I think the new pairings are cute but I prefer the original.

ah i never really did follow the series closely because i can never really get interesting in a show that has no real connection to the previous ep. This show however was great

well the overarching thing wasn't really introduced to Scooby until 13 and the DTVS which lead into What's new that did have continuity nod but i don't mind randomness at times i can be very random

those can be funny but after a while it gets really boring when its just the same thing after another. with no connecting arc you start to care less and less about the characters when they never learn from what they have done nor do they seem to grow as friends
