Thank you Jenna. Yes, that water was a lucky accident playing with heavy pigmented washes, just dropping colour into a wet wash with a 'loaded' (with paint) brush. Now I keep trying to recapture that sort of feel, sometimes I get it, other times something completely different happens. That can often be exciting and useful too.
Keep playing with them, especially if you have lots of paper to use up.

Thanks! The stretch of water I got the image from is actually about 3 kilometres long and at least one k across, but the edges are very serene. It has all sorts of lovely birds in/ on it, like Sea eagles and Brolgas. Just beautiful.
