Now might not be the best time to tell you, but Hinata has multiple levels of threat response, depending on what type of threat she is facing. Everything you've seen up to this point has been a level 1 threat response.<<<<<

Don't joke. Ants can lift objects quite heavier than themselves (although this is mostly due to their small size). And trapjaw ants are particularly nasty critters who have a tendency to snap their jaws shut at ridiculous speeds.

if Kanako's wings get severed, can she regenerate them with another transformation or even while transformed?
I've been wondering about how that works, like...if a guy turns into an octopus and loses several tentacles, how does that affect his human form and can they be regenerated through the transformation effect?
Since Kazuma is able to move his glands around and create more of a sniper setup in his arm, that got me thinking on it. Β I would assume changes can only be made during that initial "shift" and not during an active Idenshi?

It takes a lot of energy to initiate an idenshi hatsugen, and it can typically only happen once or twice a day (although this is refined through training and depends on how extensive the idenshi hatsugen is). If someone loses an appendage that was grown as a separate part of the body (like a tentacle grown out of the back or something), that can be regenerated by waiting until the next time you can use the transformation. However, if a transformed part of the original human body (like mamba's hand, for example), is damaged, it cannot be grown back without some type of regenerative idenshi hatsugen (zebrafish, axolotl, etc.).
Changes can be made during an active idenshi hatsugen, but it is extremely difficult and requires a large amount of xenosynchro to do it. (that's why Mamba was so stunned when Kazuma used that meteor counterattack move in the last arc).
