sunsets.. i didnt think any of these would be that good, but they turned out alright...Edit: Thanks a lot for all your comments and +favs. I'm a bit shocked how many people liked it.

man i love the almost treatning feel of the clouds, like there is a big storm coming up or something. and great how you placed them underneath eachother, you almost don't see the black borders like it's some surreal world with several horizons..ggggreat shots!

Thats crazy... especially the bottom one! That sunflower shot is awesome! The way the petals are transparent from the sun is superb. The flow of the three images works really well. Keep it up!

I have to agree with and (who are both friends of mine) that these could stand on theire own. I think however, that paring them together was brilliant. had a point about the first one not going with the set, because it lacked a forground image. I would have simply placed that image in the center/middle of the three to offset this.

The exposure and contrast on these are just right on. It's always a little unsettling when the sky is filled with dark clouds, yet the sun is shining, and these just exaggerate both the darkness of the clouds and the light from the sun. They're stunning.

this are ALL breathtaking shots! my only gripe is the first one (amazing shot on itself), it kind of doesn't go with the bottom two, maybe cause its missing something in the foreground, as the bottom two have. 34 comments 34 favs! let make that 35/35. I so want a print of the one in the bottom...

beautiful image! the bottom frame is my favorite, i think it would have looked great standing alone as well. i love the lighting you have on this, it gives the feel of an old horror movie to me for some reason. the perspective is wonderful as well. overall some great work

Truly amazing shots, all three of them. The soft dark light (if that makes any sense) is great, and the dramatic skies through and through are beautiful. The first and third pictures are my favorites, both being all around amazing.

man this is really awesome work. You've taken something as used as a sunset and portrayed it originally. There is a totally different (dark and forboding) atmosphere to this piece that is rarely seen with sunset shots.
I like this enough to stick it in my favourites.

i love the subtelties of these. in all three, there is something man made that cuts the photo diagonally. not to mention the ominous sky in all three. and i think that you made a good choice going with vertical as opposed to horizontal sequencing, because of that last photo, it's a very vertical photo.
