Location:melbourne australia.. taken on a typical melbournie day.. was wondering around the city and found this funky alley way with mad graffiti!!

I was there just the other day.
Its right near Melbourne Central I think.
I know of all the shifty graffiti places like that, seeing as I had to do a project on it haha.

I love this stuff, and you have captured it so well on the camera. The colour leaps of the walls, and brightens up alleys that would be otherwise dull and boring.

well im not a local.. im from Sydney so even if i had a map i wouldn even be able to tell you exactly where it is..
however it is in the city central area... like its off another alley way that has shops and a cafe in it... the alley way is quite narrow and leads into the back of a mall.. thats all i can tell u sorry

It's at the arcade end of Degraves Lane/Place/Street (whatever you want to call it) , off Flinders Street I believe.

My first time in Melbourne was last year at Melbourne Cup time, I'm from Queensland and my mum and I went down for the cup, and on our first day in Melbourne we wandered around the CBD, and came across this awesome laneway, very similar to this just across the road from Fed Square.
I was hoping to see some awesome Melb Street Art when I went there, but I thought I would have to really look for it; when we stumbled across it I nearly died!!
This photo is fantastic; it really shoes how mind blowing it is to see, and the colour really builds just how exciting it is to see it I guess

That alley is awsome, I love it. I've taken so many photos there and it never gets old coz it's always changing. Very popular spot, I even saw a wedding shoot there once.

Wow. Most people don't like graffitti but I love the amount of effort put into this kind of thing rather than the stupid tags put everywhere by kiddies. Unfortunately, in Sydney, the artistic style of graffitti is judged the same as tags and is painted over asap.
