I have an unhealthy and quite strange obsession with apples.
I thought I had seen every apple related thing ever.
But this has truly, truly blown my mind.
It is the most incredible thing I have ever seen!!!
And I definitely know what cake I want for my next birthday.

You did an awesome job getting the color variations to look just like apple peel. I love this cake!

Around 3 hours.... I just cover the apple in a light orange colour and painted with food colour in dark red and gree to give the stripes.
