Oxana is desperate. Every day she finds new split ends in the thick fluffy dark blonde hair. She cannot buy many of her hair care products in her new country, and importing them is too expensive. The stress and hassle of adjusting to her new home doesn't leave her the time she used to have to take care of her hair. When, while braiding her hair, she realized with a shock how thin the end of her hair had become, she began to cry. Hair breakage is a problem she can no longer ignore. Ever since Oksana moved to this country, her neighbor who works in a hair salon wanted to cut her calf length long hair. This dark blonde mane of hair, with no modern cut, no bangs, no layers, is every woman's dream with scissors. The conservative Eastern European women looks into the grinning face of the elegantly modern stylist, as they stand together in the hallway and Oxana has to ask her neighbor Lauryn for a haircut.

At Oxana's apartment, Lauryn gently runs her fingers through the voluminous cascade of hair. Every time the probing hands reach the ends of her damaged hair, Oxana opens her mouth in shock. The dark-haired beauty smiles confidently as she straightens from her magnificent hair.
"Your hair is fantastic. You have very good genetics, that's how you got that, special, length. And this volume, amazing." She enjoys the fearful expression in the rapunzel's eyes. "But, you've waited too long to get a haircut, now the damage is obvious." Lauryn takes the scissors from her pocket and holds them up demonstratively. "If you'd listened to me from the start it never would have gotten to this point. I'm going to have to give you more than a trim if you really want to get rid of all the damage."
Oxana frowns, her lips pout. Her head nods proudly as tears come to her eyes.
"Good girl, then let me work and you will be happy again with the quality of your hair."
Oxana holds her breath as the scissors cut loudly into her hair, she can't see in the mirror what Lauryn is doing to her hair. The thick curtain of hair is tamed cut by cut and the proud length is drastically reduced. The feminine stylist has never seen such a voluminous mane of hair.
After endless snipping, Oxana stands in front of her mirror with wide eyes. In disbelief, she rocks back and forth so that her hair swings around her body.
"How do you like it? I've removed all the damage, your hair can now grow back healthy. But, I recommend that you come to my salon regularly for a length reduction."
Oxana looks sadly at her hair. Where once flowed a dark blond sea of silk, there is now a painful emptiness. What used to be calf length is now classic length. The volume of her hair is even greater due to the lack of weight.
Lauryn pulls out her smartphone and snaps a photo for her Instagram page.
"This will be a great advertisement for my salon. Thanks, bye." She leaves the apartment satisfied.
