hey thanks for sharing the making I like how you worked that wheel.
Right now im stuck on my model trying to find a way to export it with movable wheels.
Guess i have to study more on rigging.

Hi,

if you export a source engine model with bones, remember that all the objects MUST be one single object.

If you do not have bones, you can have separate objects, like wheel, axis, bla and stuff. But once you add a bone, you have to make one single object.

Else the studiomdl will fail with very funny results

In my case: i still work with objects, but when i export i make a copy and select all objects and create one polymesh. Than i copy all vertex data and uv data. export it and remove this copy immediate But on small stuff i work with the one polymesh version ... it's depend on the complexity of the entire object

Well, wasn't really REQUESTED by me... It was on the request list and I was going to try to make it if you hadn't already been working on one. Then you said you were going to do it because you like Luna, so I didn't bother making it myself.

Edit:
Excellent work, by the way! Much nicer than what I had started on!

This is AWESOME...though are you sure the checkerboard interior is the right one? Seems a bit out of place.

And what's next?

Yeah the "Cage" looks trough the "Pillow"-Based Interior. And yeah they are not equal size - that's really a point that should be fixed ...

That wasn't my issue; I mean, the color tones of red and orange don't match the blue chariot. Perhaps an indigo-purple color?

BTW: Screenshots show a wrong glass texture. It's fixed for the SourceEngine to make it transparent. The TGA in the OBJ contains an Alpha Channel. Sorry for the old Screenshots.
