Blue and Green are two very difficult colors. particularly if both in the same scene. Either too dark or too bright. So i decide to make the background blue too. My first background was more yellow/brown/dirt-colorish but that doesn't fit in any way
The pose was made with my animation controls, but they aren't finished so i had to cheat some stuff. Rendertime was ok for just 2x2k
And finally i had to manual draw the nose and lips, because i totally forgot these and i saw it toooo late. shame on me
The original template from BoltyRandom was very good and help me very much to make it possible

i use SoftImage|XSI 7.5 for rendering and meanwhile 3D-Coat for very complex modelling work. And Photoshop to fix render mistakes haha

if some pony uses same mane as some other i already have, i can use this. i just have to make a scene, color and the hair. some ponies require to make a complete new mane - and this what i currently try to learn

the clothes from marge was super easy, because i just copy the body and stretch the model and finally cut the rest. the most problems i have is mane. i dont need it 100% exact because the hair hides crappy mesh, but if there special contours on it, than it becomes difficult for me. but the good news is ... i work on it - maybe in 2-5 years i will to this upside down while sleeping
