Very reasonable Raigho. This decision was a smart one, even if it seems heartless it’s the right way to protect the Pack from the danger. Iki on the other Hand represents the emotional Point of view here. I totally see why he thinks the way he thinks and Why He thinks this way. I understand that He does Not want to believe that they are all that, especially since Kaya is one of the killed ones. Or at least it seems to him right now. The dualty you are presenting here. Reason versus Emotion. I wonder what Raigho will do now that Iki has interupted him. They are also running out of time because Seven will show up soon too. On the other Hand Gebo already lead to the Pack with His trail of blood. So it would not Change anything if Gebo would leave now. It’s a totally interesting Situation and it’s getting more and more tense with every New page. I am totally looking forward to see the next page.

Umm guys maybe he has the O.O face because he does need the "O.O holy shit I know what your talking about!?" It's just a fantasy comic. The facial expressions AND body language is what makes this comic as well as it's story.

Somebody commented about the O_O and gaping mouth expressions already, and I would like to point out that we also have body language to look at, which you illustrated beautifully. Wolves' faces can't show emotion like a human's, so they have tails and ears to convey this also! This is just great!

bahhh The way the teeth and eyes are colored in this and the next page really throw off the finished look of the page, in my opinion of course.
Also, the perma O_O / gaping mouth expressions are so annoying to look at!
Fear, surprise, anger... all completly different emotions, each with many different facial expressions.

Just because fear, anger,and suprise are all different emotions, doesn't mean you can't feel them at the same time. I think that the authors have an amazing talent for drawing animals and if you're that focused on one detail of the whole picture, your missing out on an awesome story and peice of art.
By the way to Tanathe: amazing story with amazing characters. I love the way you (and akreon)are taking time to develope each individual, something that many graphic artist sometimes forget to do. Keep up the good work (:

I totally agree... however, if you look at the pages a ways before this one, you'll notice the expressions flow much better with the dialogue.
While focusing on small details may seem like a bad thing, in fact, it is the small details that add to the realism of any picture, and help to create the image as a whole.
These two artists are amazing, I agree, and I wouldn't bother following their art if I didn't think so. However, no one is perfect, and opinions will always differ. Constructive criticism is always useful to an artist as opposed to constant praise. Praise, however motivating, does not encourage improvement, which is something an artist will always strive for.

Is that because of how the lineart of the teeth are colored? Or is there another reason why they bother you.. just curious.

It has a lot to do with the lineart, being almost non existent just around these areas, while the rest of the picture is linearted very strongly.
The coloring and the lineart style is very pretty, but throws off rest of the image since the styles don't match.

The way you can draw the expressions WHILE keeping the wolf anatomies this realistic really stuns me. And the lighting, the backgrounds... everything is just perfect
