Description Something I painted with watercolor in art class! [Quite a while ago lskdgj] The scanner made the colors appear too light, so I darkened it and put in a filter on photoshop / o/

I was sort of 'inspired' by watching a cool [rare for reality shows, I know,] reality show called "Oddities" where these people own a sort of antique shop of odd stuff, and they sold a 'kapala' or 'skull cup' that was used to remember the dead in East Indian culture.

Oh my god this is so racist!  You're mocking the Asians!  Everyone knows skulls are white!  Are you secretly wishing them dead?!  Is that it??  I can't take this crap anymore.

You know... and even though I feel in my heart of hearts that not in all cases, does there have to be malice in the heart of an individual, when for example, that work "Wild Woman" was posted ( I do Honestly still feel that that artist meant no harm - but in fact she meant to Praise - and that's how I took it, too)

But I have to say, your comment, has been eating at me, too.  Got me thinking in ways I hadn't before; and how even good, and good intentions, - if not done first with "thought", and consideration behind it; can in fact lead to bad things. And more suffering for people. On, and offline.  And my own 'real life' trolls, coupled with my interactions with you, have brought me to this truth.  And how feelings can get twisted, and perceptions, too, because of that.

The simple fact is. You are correct. Native people are Not in fact, "costumes".

I have been getting it more and more with each passing day (and each Real internet troll I encounter - and that - by the way, is Not You, I believe now, but that I first believed you to wrongfully be.  So for that reason, I'll leave my first comment here on your work (that I was going to hide, upon this realization... I'm going to instead leave it here so that other bung holes like myself, can read and Learn too, from my own stupidity.

Your teachings to me of terms such as "sea-lioning", for one, got me on a mission to learn more still.  And I plan to post a journal about trolls, and how people can open their eyes a bit more, based on what I did find, and learn.

I hope you'll believe me when I say I am Very Sorry. And I hope you'll accept my apology.  But I will certainly understand if you don't.  Just know that I AM Sorry.   I would Never do anything to deliberately cause anyone pain.  God forbid, to further the suffering of another human being whose been  already suffering, especially ; whose known any sort of oppression, especially.  That is insult to injury.  God forbid, and my God as my witness. I am not about that.

This is really eye-catching, especially from afar. The skull itself has a neat texture, really rough, and I like the idea of painting it orange. What I really love is the dark background, and the creepy vibe it gives this picture. I think the other comment summed it up perfectly haha.

Oh goodness thank you for the comment! Yeah I was going for a sort of mysterious yet kinda chaotic look with the background.
Eeee and thank you for the fave also! ; v;

First of all, I need to say, Oddities was one of my favorite shows when I actually had time to watch tv. lol
and scanners are a pain in the ass. i think it's just a rule or something

Anyways: I really like this! ldrkdlgkj The background really captivates me. Like, I don't know how to explain it well, but it looks like some surreal cave and the skull is floating though space.

Oh gosh I really like it! Too bad I never know when to find it on tv.

Aww, thanks! Glsdkjf I think that's a pretty good explanation within itself.
