After a week of sailing along on the cruise ship i boarded we came to the wintry jewel of Norway's crown and reached Kirkenes, at the very most northerly point of the mainland. The sights and the feeling of wonder accompanying it i just can't describe. I really never seen or been anywhere that cold. Check out the sheets of ice down there!. I could hear the cracking of ice below as the ship pushed it's way through, on it's way to port. I snapped this pic from portside when the frost smoke cleared, and i mean literally fog that was rising from the water. You ever taken a frozen lolly (popsickle for US watchers lol) from the freezer and seen it seem to smoke?. Like that, but on a bigger scale.. sta.sh/010k53hni2nm Like that XD

It was -40 at the time and wow.. And as well as it being my first time being in such cold, it also was the first time i knew what frostbite was. I had the beginnings of such set in, during a snowmobile trip. ^^:
