Description
A4 - black biro, drawn on a page in my drawing book, then collaged at the bottom with hand made recycled paper, watercoloured, and ink (the magenta smoke, lips, tongue etc..)I fucked up a bit in the places where the glue stoped the watercolours (live and learn), you can see this on her boob.
the anatomy is a bit fucked up because i drew straight on the page without any pencils under.

maaan i love the vomity looking body and the fact he's a greeny colour adds to the kindof sicklyness(is that a word?) to it. the purple of her skin looks so good against his. and the smoke from the cigarette framing them is magnificent!

Maybe it's just my choice of literature at the moment, but your drawing style is feircely similar to Hunter S Thompson's way with words - obtuse, rambling, but razor edged with bleeding precision and almost chemical abstraction. I think the big man woulda liked your work!

Totally awesome picture. Love it for some reason, can't pin it down though. Love the colours, and the whole well look of it. Okay I'm back for a full comment, even though I'm still crappy today. No thanks again to the wonderful service of the Sydney Rail Transit. Seriously it was like playing musical chairs between platforms while those loonies changed and cancelled timetables at will.
Anyway...
Exploding diamonds buddy! This piece is a like a portrayal of dangerous seduction with pain, joyous or not.
I love how the 2 bodies intermorph, also it's like the guy in front is getting totally controlled by dominated by his shadow.
I want to know how you keep the paper relatively crinkle free with the use of watercolors and such?
And what did you use to do the texture on the body of the dude?

i use very little water as with inks very little is needed, sometimes i use watercolur paper which does stop the crinkle a bit (sometimes). With watercolours i suppose its the same, use as little water as you can get away with oh, and only use the tube kind.. i dont know, i never really have had a problem with crinkles that i can remember. and the texture is just some recylcled paper i rip up into small pieces and pasted on, then watercoloured over. Mhh, this is awesome! I love the colors and the way you use penβscribbles or not ?. I love the womanβs face and the way her hair falls behind her shoulder- sheβs so pretty and seductive looking. That hand is amazing as well and the interaction between the orange and green is great. I wish I hadnβt read that bit about the vomit in someone elseβs comment though. I donβt know if I would have thought about it if it wasnβt for that, but now I canβt stop thinking about it. Eh, putting that awayβ¦. I still love it even with your so-called mistakes and whatnot.

eating hearts, kissing fingers, spiralling downward downward, controller of the heart with a single ember butt, love, crave the bile and now he's blinded by his own lust... I love the biro hashing and the recycled paper stomach is excellent, so colourful, how vomit should be. it has this really control air, i love her arms and fingers, long and full and able to reach every piece of him. LOVE IT WILBUR.

Its really stareable like abstract surreal type thing. Becuase of all the different arms and arts. The detail is really amazing, full view makes it more seeable though becuase everythings bigger. Definatley a favourite .
