I love everything exept the sword ,

I think you mistook the germanic evolution of the spathae for the greek evolution or rather a celtic variant , ofcourse anglo saxons living so close to celts wouldn't make that unheard of ,

germanic swords were long whereas celtic hallstat models and southern ones were quite short
and the guard really reminds me of a southern or celtic model.
ofcourse I don't just criticise to be an asshole so i'll back it up
