You're welcome. I liked reading your Polish Christmas entry, too. Despite my moniker, I'm of Polish decent. Our Christmas Eves growing up were similar. The clear soup was Sauerkraut with mushrooms. We also had fish, usually locally caught trout. Everyone but me ate lobster tail, too. I never liked it. And, of course, home made pierogi!

Pierogi are the best part of every Christmas Eve. In my grandma's house there is a tradition that in some dumplings grandma puts coins. If somebody finds a coin, he or she will have a lot of money and happiness in the future
