Life, even an imaginary one, is difficult. We wrestle too, especially with toying with people's dreams. Some don't care and that is what makes them true demons. I just wear the flesh but my heart isn't into playing with the mind of a mortal.

Drusilla is right, if we cannot enlist help why are we here?

Some may call us parasites upon the mind, but our existence is essential to life, like the bacteria in a mortal's body does essential functions the body relies upon - remove them and one gets sick. We are creatures of the mind, flitting apparitions, motes of imagination, people you think you know but never can meet, ideas, dreams, and nightmares.

And to never share such great things, as I know are here, would be such a terrible loss for not just one life but two. And the others like us, dreams, which shall never have a chance to be imagined.

I get this feeling that dreams themselves are dying and we must do everything we can to save them.
