Sorry its been a while, I've been a little busy ^^'Seen as how we havnt had a real girls bout for a while, I thought to myself, Hmm, Metal(ish) Chicks...that'd be cool.
So, Amy-Lee (Evenescence) vs Tarja(ex-Nightwish)

Didnt see a pairing quite like this one coming. But guess it was almost a guarentee that there would be some heavier metal female vocals going head to head in a bout.
Tarja Turunen was born 1977 and the band Nightwish really got rolling around 1996. But by 2005 her band put out an open letter asking her to leave the band, since then she has begun her own solo career and is planning to tour up through 2012.
Amy Lynn Hartzler was born late 1981 and the band Evanescence got started around 1995. Even to this day she is still with her respective band and they plan to release a new album around the opening days of October of 2011.
While Amy is indeed the younger of the two, by a margin of a little under 4 yrs, and her band began before Nightwish, she looks to possibly have more of the youth and spunk for this fight. However, Tarja has a hint more experience and knows how to stand up on her own, solo. So by a narrow pinch my vote drops to...

heheh, You forgot to mention that Tarja is a complete Diva and was more "Kicked" out of Nightwish than politley asked to leave. Saying that however, Both Evanescence and Nightwish are full of member changes and lawsuits.
All the same, A match between two headline power vocalists should be entertaining, and I swear I will restrain myself from drawing them singing eachother to a knockout xD

Well,
I would certainly say there is probably more 'diva' in Tarja seeing as she was pretty much asked to leave the band. Although no doubt Amy-Lee has a good bit of that too. But think she lacks initiative and boldness since she hasnt attempted to see how she might fair with a little solo trial of her own.
And I think anyone here could see Amy-Lee having a better solo career than Fergi of the Black Eyed Peas.
