It always makes me happy to see grass that has actually gone to seed. It means we didn't try and kill it once a week for 4 months.
Plus, it means more photosynthetic respiration, which means more oxygen!

Nice chromatic scheme. I like the way the warm foreground blends with the grey in the background. When was the picture taken? I mean what time of day. It gives me the feeling of one of those very cold early mornings...very chilly

It was taken at about 3:00 in the afternoon. The sun was starting to visibly go down about this time and is usually all the way down at about 5 around here.
