This might be the only thing I'll be able to post, as my internet's on one of them "Bad days" XD;Okay, so I've decided to make a pair of Pokemon for *Marshmowllo 's HEADSTRONG Files “Create an Apprentice” Contest!
Figured "Why not?" I had a bit of spare time x3
Plus Jelleh kinda inspired me to do so XD;
Now I bet you're all thinking "What the? A Futachimaru?!" I thought again, "why not?" It would be different x3
And I got all the proper information from the best sources on the web so, here's my entires!
And here's a wee background for the two, as to who they are and why they joined, sorta thing x3
Bruke (the Futachimaru) is a young and proud Pokémon who enjoys fighting a lot, and trains hard in order to stay on top of the game. Though he gets excited about battles he doesn’t let it go to his head…too much. Has a habit of saying the wrong things at the wrong times, but everyone knows he has a kind heart and would never let his friends come to harm. He developed his moves from his father, a Lucario who died protecting him while he was just a child. One of his reasons for joining the Crossroads Guild was to help put away the bad Pokémon in the world, so that they could live a peaceful life.
A close friend and partner to Bruke, Squawk (the Farfetch'd) is a quiet and sometimes sarcastic Farfetch’d but would never treat anyone he likes with disrespect. He hides the fact that his mother was a Leafeon for it would seem embarrassing that his father would mate with “such a silly leaf-creature!” Though he is quite happy bout the Leaf Blade he learn though his mother, it’s probably the only thing he liked bout her!
Knowing he had more sense out of the two, he joined his friend at the Crossroads Guild, knowing that without him, Bruke would most likely go nuts on battling and bring down the whole guild.
I don't really expect to win to be honest, but making these two was fun to do XD
Not many people say it, but Vexx is a good sport so I will~

So, I LOVE that one of these characters is a Farfetch'd. Such an awesome, under-appreciated Pokemon (it's a warrior duck, come on people!).
I also like that you did your own ref sheet design rather than just copying the Headstrong ref style. c:
Characters were supposed to follow game rules with regards to move inheritance and breeding, though (offspring of mixed-species matings are the mother's starting evolution stage, egg moves come from the male parent). I can probably let it slide in this instance, though, since it's still a legal moveset for Farfetch'd.
(Like Jelleh, you're still following the spirit of the rule; in this case, it was to prevent a flood of crazy-looking hybrid designs and illegal movesets.)
Also, are they a team? Otherwise, they count as separate entries...

Then again, internet was playing up so I couldn't get on to see properly, but I followed everything else as best I could to the letter x3;
I must've missed that as well, but again I missed some detail, and the idea seemed alot better at the time so uh...thanks for letting it slide this time
Oh they are a team, but I wasn't sure whether or not I was meant to come up with a team name XD;

That contest journal turned into a pretty big wall of text, so missing things is understandable, especially with your internet being on the fritz (is it back up and running properly yet?). Like I said, you still kept to the spirit of the rule, so don't worry about it. C:
A team name isn't completely necessary; if a team doesn't select one they just go into the Guild registry under the leader's name. But if you want to add one, feel free!

ok now since more entries showed up..................i think i now want to enter this contest. the shocking thing is i promised myself not to.
but i just got this idea for 2 of my characters in which i notice won't appear for a long time, and this could give a side saga, could place even more ideas in my mind but yeah i haz enough inspiration to enter A contest now

To be honest, I thought it'd be more interesting this way, and fun. I mean a Leafeon mother that Squawk hates but learns a unique move from! Sometimes rules of the Pokemon gotta bend.
I mean, why else would the awesome saur *points at self* have four vines at a low evolution stage -w-

Yeah, bending game mechanics for a story suits me just fine. I give my Pokemon more than four moves. I also like to think that breeding can be a bit random, like they can be like the father or the mother. So nice to see someone else do it too, I guess.
