This was used for my little explanation of how I create my art, which can be found here!Mummys, they certainly can be creepy, and this one is not exception XD;
I did this while at a friends house and it's kind of like how I see the Mummy ability in the 5th Gen Pokemon games.
To me it shouldn't just take away whatever ability your Pokemon may have, it should also bind the foes in place so they couldn't escape or something. Kinda like how Mean Look or Spider Web acts, preventing you from escaping.
So this's what ended up happening, Vexx and Mack end up getting caught by a evil Cofagrigus, and traps them using it's cursed ability. Can't say that looks like fun o3o
Anyway, as I said it's just my take on how it could work x3

Actually, based on the most recent Anime Episode in Japan, it seems like Mummy really does work like this. I may need to spot check what happens, but Iris (and by proxy Axew for being in her hair) gets stuck in a Coffin with a Cofagrigus, she emerges wrapped up from head to toe in bandages. Of course she breaks out with zero effort, so the whole curse aspect doesn't seem to have taken effect.
It's funny. I jokingly imagined that being hit by Mummy in the games looked like when your character got hit by the cursed gas in the Metal Slug games, and expected it to actually look like the victim becoming all glowing and zombielike. I never thought they would make the Mummy part quite so literal.

Huh. I'm pretty sure it works something like that. xD I dunno. I freakin' HATE that ability. I mean, in earlier gens, abilities were kind pointless, but now, they're actually USEFUL. I hate to see my guy lose his in battle.
