The goddess had never expected her eternal enemy, the demoness, to enter her heavenly sanctum and caught her off guard. The demoness had brought with her the cursed arrow of ruin, which she then shot the helpless goddess with it. Imbued by catastrophic dark magic, the ruinous arrow pierced the goddess right into her belly button, destroying the source of her divine power. A burst of immense amount of energy streamed out of the goddess' wounded navel, forcefully channeled out of her body by the dark power of the cursed arrow. With her remaining yet diminishing power, the goddess had to flee from the presence of the demoness. The loss of her power forced the goddess to turn into a mortal, and she no longer had her power to keep herself at the heavenly abode.

The demoness usurped the throne of the goddess. Chaos and destruction slowly manifested onto the mortal realm as her divine abode turned into the lair of evil. Malevolence reigned above and the devotees of the goddess sensed the loss in their connection to the divine.

Unwillingly, the goddess descended down onto the mortal realm. As her body reached the hard surface of the profane world, her transfiguration into a mortal eventually completed. Complete obliteration was never an option for the demoness as the cycle of reincarnation would only return the goddess into her previous state, possibly with some degrees of augmentation in her power. The arrow that jutted out of the goddess' belly button pinned her spiritual presence to stay in this mundane realm, preventing her reincarnation.
