This month's Voice Tribute goes to Erica Lindbeck, an incredible voice actress known for anime, cartoons, video games and even one hell of an amazing indie cartoon. As previously announced, the decision to move forward with this Tribute this week as opposed to next month was a last minute decision, due to the fact that Erica deleted her social media accounts following harassment for (checks notes) asking politely to take down a video that used her voice thru AI without her consent. From what I hear, Erica is strong and kind, and is not likely to let something like this keep her down, so I choose to believe she's just on a break from social media to get away from the cesspool of toxicity that supports the use of AI. Let this be a continuing lesson that AI harms artists of all forms, and I do not support the use of my drawings or voice (because I have done some voice stuff) to be used in AI in any form.
