A magician and serial killer who becomes a Hunter in order to fight strong opponents. Deceitful, playful and narcissistic, Hisoka enjoys nothing more than the thrill of battle. In fact, he might enjoy it a little too much. He takes an interest in Gon and his friends during the Hunter Exam, and allows them to live so they may eventually become worthy opponents. Hisoka is a trickster by trade, and is not above manipulating his allies to get what he wants, be it the Phantom Troupe, Illumi Zoldyck, or even Gon. Hisoka's signature Nen technique is Bungee Gum, an elastic aura that he uses for multiple purposes, not the least of which being a weapon.
