A ninja in service to the Hoshido royal family and one of Ryoma's personal retainers. Dedicated and fiercely loyal to her liege, she is ready to lay down her life for him, though not quite to the extreme of her partner retainer and ex-boyfriend Saizo. Kagero remains calm and steadfast in the face of danger, and dedicates much of her time training for battle. Despite this serious demeanor, though, she is able to form meaningful friendships and personal hobbies. In fact, she really enjoys painting, though she lacks the aptitude for it...The only ones to appreciate her eccentric art style are Orochi and Odin.
