Description
The main inhabitants of Vhalandar are called the Vhalandir. These gentle, good natured and intelligent folk live in harmony with nature and all other creatures that inhabit the world. They believe in balance, peace and serenity. There are around 20 known tribes of Vhalandir. The Thaeryx tribe, with around 60 members, is one of the largest tribes and they live in a luscious, green forest in the mountains. The forest provides food, water, wood and protection against the elements. The summers are mild, but the winters can be very cold.

It is custom for the king to have an official Royal Bodyguard, however there is not much to guard, as there has not been any violence among the Vhalandir for many generations. The position is an honorary and coveted one and the chosen bodyguard carries the title with pride. When King Zaxus II died, his Royal Bodyguard retired.

Nyxen was chosen to take up the position for the new king. It means that he has been with the king his entire reign. As they both enjoy music and arts very much, they have grown very close. Nyxen has become so much more than a Royal Bodyguard: he has become a caretaker and a trusted friend. Especially now that he is elderly, Nyxen makes sure that the king always has something to drink or eat, doesn’t have too many appointments and is entertained with music or art. He whispers the names of visitors in his ear when he forgets them and makes sure that the king stays fairly active by taking him out for a walk or a ride each day.

All my creatures live in the world of Vhalandar. Each has it's own story and background. All creatures are handmade, unique and made from either air drying clay or polymer clay.
