I love how this emphasizes the progression in both vision and technique! It's something of a fascination of mine of how people improve and change their take on the world. It still amazes me what I used to draw and the fact that sometimes my vision was overcame by my lack of technique,

The thing I like the most about this contest is that it's a good experience for artists to see how much they've grown in technique and concept; It lets us see how experience helps us improve. Looking through most of the entries and seeing how people have improved has always intrigued me.
