I dont get it why does everyone think that all asians are from china or japan .technically the middle east is in asia so well and india

when i used the term 'asian' i was referring to the peoples whose physical traits are that of the asian race, i.e., the mongoloid race, in ethnological terms. though indians and middle easterners settled in an area classified as part of asia, they are not considered genetically 'asian' or mongoloid; they are members of the caucasoid race, sharing physical traits with people of, say, european descent

This is a well done illustration! But what do you mean, "apparently"? You make it sound as if you just realized that the characters are fantasy versions of Asian and Indigenous people.

i think only the fire nation is chinese in essence; the earth kingdom appears korean, the air temples appear tibetan, and of course the water tribes appear inuit.

that was kinda why i was like "china" in quotation marks because it is like the entire sinosphere essentially i always found the water nation to be more like northern asian [like northern manchurian and mongolian or russian areas] vs. inuit.
