Description
Corvo Attano, “Dishonored”.
One of my elderly colleagues noticed me working on this picture, watched the screen for some time and suddenly asked if it’s my boyfriend. Such questions make me anxious about the impression I make upon other people.
Random notes:

- Soundtrack is "In the room where you sleep" by Dead Man's Bones
- Perspectives are painful but fun thing to draw

This is perfect. Corvo is such a neat character; I just wish there was more scenes with that mask. It was a treat seeing it before the main missions.

This is really nice, I enjoy the perspective and colours. I don't know the guy, but I don't like the way he's looking at me. Have you tried blurring the building behind him just a little bit? I think it would push the depth a bit more. Though I also like how claustrophobic it looks right now (ok, that's not the right word there, but I hope you get what I mean

And yeah, good idea with blurring, it's worth toying around with, since I happened to keep a non-texturized psd file with unmerged layers (rare occasion. Layers never survive by the end of my work

Well, you could still blur even if you merged your layers. Just play with the lasso, there's always a chance to find a selection that works. I've had some very picky clients and had to do big changes at the last moment, and that taught me nothing is impossible (but many things are incredibly annoying, of course).

Yes, you're absolutely free to make him a revenge-driven killing machine or a local version of Batman, all stealthy, calculating and wanting justice. Or combine both approaches. While he can be REALLY creative with killing, I dislike his darker version. It is way more satisfying to let people live and to destroy bosses non-lethally. In this case bad guys suffer more
Lasso and masks help with layers merged, but I hate it SO MUCH. Have such clients too. Whiny bastards
