32nd drawing from "What if Disney characters had their own Pokemon team" seriesI know, I know... it's being awhile...
Next month it's the end of my post-graduation course... and I'll have some freetime back \o/
I re-watched Mulan the other day, and when I saw the scene where she is left alone by the others, and she was cover with the blanket...I thought it would be perfect ...since I had no time u.u (and I wouldn't have to draw body and bg)
Mulan's team is:
Zebstrika -> Khan
Charmander -> Mushu ('cause he is not a real dragon after all xP)
Surskit -> Cri-Kee (I wanted a small, blue, bug typed pokemon...so..yep)
Pangoro -> fake Panda soldier and also a fighting type (cause a soldiers team needs one)
Honedge -> represents the sword and armor from Mulan's father
Mawile-> I wanted a feminine pokemon and a rare one too... (so Shiny and I also wanted to draw Mawile so bad ó.ò)
Next is also from Mulan. One extra drawing with Shang, Yao, Ling, Chien Po, Chi-Fu and the Emperor.
Question of the day: Do you guys want Yao, Ling and Chien Po on their armors or with"concubines" look??

I'm doing "The emperor's new groove" now, but since I moved in March, I wasnt able to draw nothing that takes to much time...

this is fluffing beautiful, I love Mulan and I hated the part where she was left there. Not meaning to sound rude though they know sHE COULD HAVE DIED OUT THERE SINCE ALL YOU LEFT HER WITH WAS A FLUFFING BLANKET IN THE SNOWY MOUNTAINS!!!!.
* takes a deep breathe * sorry 'bout that, it just usually sets me off that they did that though they say women are helpful. Anyways, please tell me when you finish that extra for this. Im looking forward to it ^^

It would be cool if Ang Lee would turn Disney's Mulan Animated Film into a Live Action Film.
I would love see Ang Lee turn Disney's Mulan or Hayao Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke into a Live Action Films.
Ang Lee won 1 Oscar for Best Foreign Film, 2 Oscar for Best Director, 2 Golden Globes for Best Director and 2 BAFTA awards for Best Direction.
Ang Lee is a Taiwanese Director known for directing "Sense and Sensibility", "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", "Brokeback Mountain" and "Life Of Pi"

I love Ang Lee's movies.
But I think some animated movies like Mononoki Hime, should never get a LiveAction version, that would destroy the magic .
Now, Mulan, it's a historical event so Live Action would be awesome, although the real version is nothing like the Disney version.
If you are interested, there is a CHINESE live action, about the real tale from Mulan. It's a pretty good movie, I recommend it. (I think it is called: "hua mulan" or "Mulan: Rise of a Warrior" in english)

You know a big reason why I like your Pokemon series is that you think through which make the best pokemons for each character. Other people around here when making Disney crossovers with Pokemon just pick out the "coolest" or prettiest pokemon (like all the princesses getting all the eevelutions) and call it a day.
Not yours, though, and that's why I like it. More food for thought.

I usually spend hours re-watching the movies, taking notes, then looking on bulbapedia for perfect pokemons.
And since I don't want to repeat any pokemons...it's getting harder and harder...
But it makes me so happy to see someone appreciates all this effort.
