Description ➡️gta.fandom.com/wiki/Faction

“With its squared-off bodywork, sensible engineering and T-Top roof, the Faction has recently begun to lose its historic association with high finance and cases of sexual assault. These days, it's old and cheap enough to attract a generation of you artisans who dream of nothing more than finding an old car and hiring someone else to make it look good. Being a pioneer has never been this easy. Eligible for customization at Benny's Original Motor Works.”

— Benny's Original Motor Works  description.

The Willard  Faction is a two-door muscle car debuted Grand Theft Auto IV , and was later added to Grand Theft Auto Online  as part of the Lowriders  update.

Influence:
- General:
The Faction is designed as a 1980s American sports coupe that resembles a 1982–1987 Buick Regal , replacing the Majestic  from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas , more specifically the Buick Grand National and Regal T-Type , as seen in certain details and portions of the design. The headlights seem to be inspired by the 1981 Chrysler Cordoba /Dodge Mirada , while the tail lamps might have been inspired by the 1981–1983 Chevrolet Malibu . The rear fascia might have also taken inspiration from the Nissan 240RS , while the front bumper is somewhat similar to the third-generation Chrysler LeBaron , albeit with a more angular design, similar, to some extent, to the 1983–1988 Chrysler New Yorker .

Design:
- Grand Theft Auto IV:
The Faction is depicted with a simplistic body, characterized by its bent grille and front end fog lights, along with a bulky bumper housing the rectangular turning signals and a plate holder. A silver "WILLARD" marking can be seen above the grille, as well as a "TURBO" badge on the passenger side of the grille.

The sides have a simplistic profile, with flared arches, ridges passing through the doors, and side marker lights on the front area, while the greenhouse area has plastic trims around the windows and square rear-view mirrors on black supports. The rearmost pillars have silver markings displaying the manufacturer, and the front fenders have "400 TURBO" badges. An aerial/antenna can be seen on the driver-side A-pillar.

The rear end features a small trunk lid and a set of square tail lights housed in plastic panels, with the rear plate holder in between. The bumper houses the two reverse lights, and two exhaust pipes are seen on the rear quarters, below the bumper. The "FACTION" and "V8 TURBO" badges can be seen over the tail lights, along with a "Liberty City  Willard " badging on the rear plate holder.

The Faction may spawn either with a glass or a solid T-top  roof, along with a small hood scoop displaying additional "400 V8 TURBO" badges on it. The Faction can spawn in a single color or a two-tone color, with the secondary one applied on the roof and pillars. The car uses a unique set of wheels, sharing the same rim design as the ones on the Taxi  and Police Cruiser .

- Grand Theft Auto Online:
The car retains its design from Grand Theft Auto IV . However, thanks to GTA Online's enhanced graphics and textures, the Faction is overall better detailed than its previous appearance.

The car may spawn with the solid T-top, a glass T-top or no panels, which can be changed at Los Santos Customs . Color distribution is the same as in GTA IV, although the interior stitching matches with the primary color. Its wheels are also the same, being similar to the "Fairlie" muscle rims available in Los Santos Customs .

Performance:
- Grand Theft Auto IV:
Powered by a 400 CUI turbocharged V8 engine, the Faction is a fun car to drive with a high-torque engine up front. Combined with the FR drivetrain, handbrake turns are smooth yet controllable. The brakes have good stopping ability. Its top speed is reached fairly quickly thanks to its light body weight.

It shares the smooth, high-revving engine sound with the Sabre  and the Ruiner .

- Grand Theft Auto Online:
The car is powered by a hefty single overhead camshaft turbocharged V8 with a large air intake centralized on the engine bay. Just like its badges state, a turbocharger is present to the bottom left of the engine.

The car has average performance. The Faction's acceleration is pretty slow and poor for its class, yet still has enough power to backfire when revved, despite this, the car's power is unable to allow good take-off and traction is minimal; the car struggles to drive up gradients more than around 30 degrees. Its top speed is acceptable, and is very similar to its IV generation. Braking is also average, nothing too special but enough to bring the heavy car to a stop in an acceptable amount of time, being much better than the GTA IV variant. The normal version of the Faction is not advised for long-term usage because this vehicle is extremely sensitive to minor imperfections in the road, and has a tendency to be sent into the air because of an imperfection, especially curbs.

The engine sound is rather unique, in that it shares elements (such as the backfiring stages and high-revving stages) from the Dukes , but also has the low-revving/idle sound similar to that of the Blade  and Buccaneer .
