The last of our long art dump and the one with the most lore.

The Fellow you see before you predates my Shantae Obsession by two years and predates Twitch being my muse by seven years, being among the first things I would've drawn in my life. His full story is yet another entry for my Journal Backlog, but the gist is that he's a character with many inspirations, the most prominent being Mega-man and the Fleet-way comics.

For the first thing, the Cannon over the shoulder comes from Vile, my personal favorite Mega-man Villain. Originally, he was gonna have it over his lower arm just like G-1 Mega-tron but I decided against that. As well, he originally resembled a thin Prime Mega-tron, having the shoulder spines the space dictator had in that series (Like I said, he had many inspirations in his life.)

For the second thing, I was more inspired by Fleet-way's tendency to have more alien designs and locations not seen in the games and other media, saving us from yet another series mostly populated with furies and generic automatons. To be frank, Fleet-way has my favorite depiction of Mobius, it being a world with a diverse berth of species and locales that have their own distinct cultures. It's something I feel the IP has failed to capture even back then and something I'd wish to see again. In this case, he would've leaned into the more realistic human proportions some of the villains had in that series, such as Commander Brutus. It plays well with the Mega-man inspirations and sets him apart from the more animal like characters that populate the series and fandom.

His story and motivations change frequently as time goes on, and he's even had three names throughout his lifetime, but I've had a soft spot for him despite all that. Hopefully now that he has a design I'm keen on, I can finally find an use for him. Until such a time for him to be fleshed out comes about, this will be it for now. We'll see if I can finally get a colored drawing going.
