all my friends live in NYC so i'm there a lot. I'd have to say you did a great job capturing the cabs.
As for the steam pipes, i have no idea. I've always wondered that myself

Another great shot. What really caught my eye was the colour of the taxi cabs - they really stand out against the cold background of brick and concrete - adds some warmth to the shot and really grabs the viewers attention!
Any idea what the pipes are for? Subway? Construction? I've never seen anything like them!
