People seem to really like my posters so I'm putting more up. As always please comment.Not much to say about this. It's pretty straight foward.

The basic run down is, if Necromorphs are still truly organic then they themselves can be infected by the Flood spores. If not then they are evenly matched, seeing as neither species is truly living nor truly dead.
But as I stated before, if Necormorphs are still organic then they are subject to becomming food for the Flood. Therefor the Flood would win this scenerio.

the thing is the body can't be tampered with (as in mutated or infected with an extremely dangerous disease ) otherwise the flood can't infect it and necromorphs are a virus they mutate and infect the corpse making it impossible to be infected pure necromorphs would be infectable but there is no proof that such a thing exists

Not to mention the necromorphs can create brethren moons(the ultimate necromorph form) out of pretty much anything(as long as most of the things used are organic). So technically if the necromorphs can just start making a brethren moon then they can just take the flood and use them for whatever they do with humans. (Necros only need organic matter they don't care what happened to it so in all reality it would be the necromorphs consuming the flood) Sorry about my lack of punctuation I was never good at using it.

That's quite alright. When you aspire to be an author, you force yourself to get used to seeing it.
And I have never heard of this Brethren Moon, so I am assuming it's from DP3 (th only one I haven't played). I can't argue with this. It's simply brilliant to a wonderful extent. Reasoning and all, see?

Flood need a good body that hasn't been tampered with unless by another flood or else it isn't infectable. The only thing necromorphs need is a body with limbs, or really, anything organic. Flood can use guns? most Necromorphs spit crap anyway.

The one thing we can all agree on: We can NEVER allow the Flood and the Necromorphs to intermix. All life would be decimated.

As a halo fan for the first few seconds I was offended...then I thought about it...yeah, necromorphs would decimate the the flood...

Haha, same here. But the Flood is smart, and get smarter as they infect. They almost took over everything in such little amount of time. However, Necromorphs are 100 times scarier...!

oh yeah, now I dont really know who would win. The flood is smart, but the necromorphs are vicious...Eh, they'll just infect each other and then the whole universe is screwed.
( necromorphs are so much scarier...my heart actually skipped a beat when I played deadspace for the first time)

OK Flood: takes over a human body and is used as a puppet to take over the galaxy. Necromorphs: Have giant limbs that cut of your head, dismember every single thing thats apart of your body, Infects people, give you some of the most bloodiest and goriest deaths, and controlled by a giant massif rock that makes you go crazy and often tries to get you to commit suicide. Ya the flood is way worse (said super sarcasticly)

The flood is very intelligent. Necromorphs aren't. Necromorphs also takes over a host.

Actually, Necromorphs will just infect a person, and when that person dies, he or she will mutate into a Necromorph.

Exept the Flood can mutate people while they are still alive. They can infect living creatures alive or dead. (Which means that they could infect Necromorphs and make Floodomorphs. Then we would all die.

the necromorphs are pretty intelligent when they start out
the flood need to work up to the level of intelligence that necromorphs already start out with, the flood would be massacred before they could even start gathering enough calcium to make their resource-hungry proto-gravemind
another thing is that the necromorphs dont even need a collective intellegence form coordinated attack groups, the flood would be ripped to shreds upon encountering necromorphs
the flood dont have forms like the puker when they start out, plus if the ubermorph or hunter came into play, the flood might as well give up, as those two forms can regenerate rather quickly.
the flood only have combat forms when they start out, and at that point, they just run at you in uncoordinated attack patterns, they would get wiped out pretty quickly, plus the necro's have exploders.
the infection forms (flood) die way too easily, they pop like balloons with one shot or one hit in melee. the infector (necromorph) has a certain limb that must be severed, and it does not die from hitting it once in melee

Hahah. Lol, you just played Halo 3 and never read the books. the flood are MUCH MUCH worse than the Necros. Simply Biologically they are superior in streaght and durability, Issac wouldent be able to fist fight a Flood like he does with the Necros.
And your knowledge of there forms is completely limited to what you saw in Halo 3. The flood are like the Tyrannids of WH 40K. They adapt to everything, not just consume body material and reanimate it in different forms. They dont need a gravemind to be smart, which is why the flood overan Instalation 04 with such ease even with the heavy Convenant presense. I could get into detail but i simply sudjest you read the damn books.

I like the Flood at times, however, you overlook the fact that they still need that precious resource known as calcium to create Pure Forms, the flood still need to create at least a proto-gravemind to gain some combat skill, and that still requires a lot of calcium.
by the way, the flood only succeded on Installation 04, because the covenant didn't know what they were truly unleashing (they were trying to find something that would prove their faith correct), same with the humans (they thought there was a weapons cache that the Covenant was guarding) . Basically, the Flood surprised them and THAT'S how they were able to kill everyone (except the chief), when everyone knew what they were up against, the Flood weren't as much of a threat as they were before.
Another thing: the flood can only infect LIVE hosts, necromorphs can infect a live organism OR a corpse.

Lol no. Flood can consume any material, living or dead. Although they instictively try to make a gravemind, they dont need it to be lethal. Physically they are also much stronger and resialiant than Necros. Also, lets not forget they beat the freakin FORERUNNERs, whereas the last 2 necro outbreaks where stopped by one man in a simple engeenere outfit, props to Issac, but necros arent as big a deal as Flood, who when they DO get a gravemind, become WAY more intelligent and deadly than they already are.

well, we both seem to obviously using canon information to back up our claims, but I'm gonna back out because were not really getting anywhere on this
I tend to tilt more towards the necromorph side of the flood vs necromorph scale because of reasons, but I guess the flood need some love too (and maybe a team-up with the necromorphs)
all that said, i do respect the flood, but there's a good reason for not incuding them in the new reclaimer trilogy...

As dangerious and scary as the Necromorph's are, the flood definatly able to over-come anything, one infection for is all thats needed to convert on necromorph, not to mention carrier and combat form as well as being much smarter (ability to use machinery and computers) and don't need to rely solely on corpses to reproduce!.

1.Couldnt the hive mind just kill the infected necromorphs?
2.Even if they were infected the hive mind is the only thing holding the dead bodies together so if they were infected with the flood they would just be mush because the flood needs a 'living' host
