I met a gorgeous Euphemia ( )after the Anime North Masquerade, and I had to take a few photos with her. Thanks to Henrickson for linking me to her DA ^_^I'm dressed as Cornelia obviously. Made the costume myself. Not exactly my best work, and I'm not very proud of it's rushedness. However as a casual cosplay it does the job.
Made from:
Burgundy cotton twill
Gold satin
Fosshape
Habotai silk scarf
A gazillion gold buttons I found that have the Brittania logo on it
Custom dyed burgundy tights
The wig is my favourite part of the costume. I love it to death!
The glare is natural for me. Apparently I look and act like Cornelia on a daily basis o_O. After everyone bugged me to do Cornelia I caved.

The blade is made from wood (pine? I'm assuming. It's quite strong,has a bit of weight to it, but it isn't rock solid like some other ones. It can be carved quite easily)
Hilt is sculpted from paperclay

Interesting. Pine is nice to work with. I'm currently looking for an easy way to produce moulds for fibreglass. What's the finish like on paperclay? Is it smooth?
